The Mystery of El Nuevo Rodeo
Was George Floyd's Murder a Cartel Hit? [Politics and Government]
2709 East Lake St is the site of El Nuevo Rodeo Club and La Raza Radio
The #1 Latin music dance hotspot in Minneapolis employed both Derek Chauvin and George Floyd as “bouncers.” They worked the same shift on Tuesday nights at El Nuevo Rodeo, a Mexican-Latino dining and dance club. The Floyd family lawyer believes the link between them is suspicious. When we look at quotes from the club manager and then note that El Nuevo Rodeo conveniently burned to the ground shortly after Floyd was killed, there appears to be a considerable amount of unreported and unexamined potential evidence yet to be discovered in the case of George Floyd’s Death.
Even if Chauvin had a personal motive for killing Floyd, or if Chauvin had been ordered to put a “hit” on Floyd, that wouldn’t mean Chauvin’s attack was not also a hate crime. But it would place the Minneapolis PD and the state’s Attorney General, Keith Ellison, in a very uncomfortable position: handling a possible sordid murder-for-hire as if it were a racist atrocity proving the American police officer is a racist thug. We have to wonder how energetically Ellison will pursue this case if it turns out that it needs extensive detective work in order to prove first degree murder beyond a reasonable doubt — murder with malice aforethought, premeditated and with intent to kill right from the start of the encounter.
Anyone who has watched either of the ‘Queen of the South’ TV series — I preferred the Alicia Braga version — can have no illusions about how closely real life and fiction blend in the lives of Cartel kingpins and hit men. The notorious El Chapo even sought out a meeting with Kate Castillo, the actress who portrays Theresa in the Spanish-language version of “Queen of the South.” Operating a dance club in the Midwest with a menu whose cover portrays a cowgirl riding a bucking bronco, as did the El Nuevo Rodeo”s — is surely well within the range of approved activities back in Cartel Country. What could go on in and around such a club? Plenty of cash transactions, plenty of fine parties and schmoozing with, say, politicians. Could there be jealousies, arguments, turf conflicts, money problems? Maybe there aren’t.
If it was a hit, or else purely a crime of opportunity, where Chauvin suddenly saw a chance to achieve a goal he already had in mind, the fact that the store clerk who called 911 ended up summoning Chauvin cannot be a coincidence. Either Chauvin and the clerk knew each other, or the dispatcher on 911 knew to alert Chauvin. Either way, George Floyd’s death would not be a “third-degree” murder. It would be either first-degree murder or first-degree manslaughter. I expect Ben Crump, the attorney hired by George Floyd’s family, to pursue these lines of inquiry.
Here are three things Maya Santamaria, the El Nuevo Rodeo’s manager, told CBS reporter Graham Kates:
“Maya Santamaria said she had been paying Chauvin, when he was off-duty, to sit in his squad car outside El Nuevo Rodeo for 17 years.”
“Outside the club — which burned down last week as protests against police violence flared into civil unrest — she'd meet with Chauvin after each shift.
"We would wrap up at the end of the night and do a review," Santamaria said. They'd discuss the times Chauvin was called in to the club to remove a patron, or dealt with someone outside the club. “
“Santamaria said she wants her former employee punished.
"We have to make Derek Chauvin an example so that police around the country realize that it's not OK, and they're not going to get away with it and there will be repercussions. Otherwise it's going to continue to happen," Santamaria said.”
Just to replay: 1) she employed Chauvin for 17 years; 2) she trusted Chauvin enough to regularly, repeatedly review the evening’s activities with him — just the two of them: 3) so ? she wants to make this guy she’s known and trusted for 17 years an Example?
Why does Santamaria so quickly throw Chauvin under the bus? What does not compute among these three quotes? Who are the owners of El Nuevo Rodeo ? Where do they reside? Did the owners or Santamaria know George Floyd when he lived in Houston? Was the club burned by protesters, or was the fire set and started before the protesters arrived? Or was it set, loaded with accelerents, waiting for the spark to arrive with a mob?
It’s entirely possible — even probable — that Derek Chauvin is the reprehensible racist he has been made out to be in the press. That he should never have been on any police force, and should have been fired years ago. But he could also be a reprehensible racist who killed George Floyd deliberately — made sure Floyd was dead — for motives beyond pure race hatred.
At least two African-American police officers have so far been killed by protesters/ rioters in American cities where Floyd’s murder has been memorialized. Many more have been injured. Plenty of Hispanic, Asian, Irish, Italian, Polish, Yankee and Gringo police officers too have been injured, some very seriously. Would it be tragic, or just stomach-churning nasty ironic, if it turned out that George Floyd’s death was an everyday murder-for-hire among thugs competing against one other?

Brief Update June 5, 2020, 9:26 PM — More, not fewer, questions:
Most clubs that hire bouncers rarely mix ex-convicts with either active (off-duty) police or ex-police officers. At least in many parts of the US, clubs will use one or the other. Among others, ex-cons and cops sometime have a personal “history.”
Why was George Floyd at his car, with two companions, when the police arrived? Where was the notorious counterfeit $20 bill then, and where is it now? The El Nuevo Rodeo Dining and Dance Club in Minneapolis has a similar setup and promotion profile to the El Rodeo Disco in Houston, Texas — are the two businesses related?
How did the Friday, May 29 protest march form up? How was it that both the El Nuevo Rodeo club and the Third Precinct police station burned during the progress of that march?
What potentially corrupt activities have Minneapolis police officers been accused of in the past 3-5 years? Were any of the 4 officers complicit in George Floyd’s death also interviewed in connection with those activities?
Derek Chauvin could be the most atrocious racist in America, and still have a personal motive for killing Floyd — making sure he died after Chauvin had Floyd under his control. That would further a case for 1st degree murder.
Added info: 384 Feet Apart: EL NUEVO RODEO (ENR) and Minneapolis PD 3rd Precinct. Both completely burned on Friday, May 29th. They are a 2-Minute Walk apart. Floyd and Chauvin both worked at ENR, same shift Tuesday nights. Cahuvin and other 3 officers worked out of 3rd Precinct. La Raza Radio, in the same building as ENR and having the same owner, also burned, but is back on the air from a new location.
For what it’s worth, CBS reported George Floyd tested positive for COVID-19 on April 3, 2020.
There is no doubt in my mind that black hats within our corrupt spy agencies masterminded, produced, and directed this sordid public execution in order to inflame racial discord and violence in major cities leading up to the November presidential election. Part two of the scheme was to steal the election. True, intelligent, wide-eyed Patriots know this. And they (black hats) know that WE know! 75 million of us know! So hold on buckaroos. We are in for one wild ride to save Our Republic!
